Hi, my name is Rod Archdall, and I am the Chief Giving Officer at My Water Filter.

As our population grows and more and more demands are put on our water system, other water sources like bore water and recycled water are being added to our water supply, and the quality of our water is getting worse here in Australia. The authorities are using more and more chemicals, and for the majority of Australians, this is our only option.

We put all of our trust into the authorities to keep our water safe, but we have seen catastrophe after catastrophe here in Australia and around the world where our trust is broken and our lives and the lives of our family are put at risk.
For now, we must take responsibility for our own health and the quality of our water by filtering it when it arrives at our home.
The Global Water Crisis
3.4 million people die each year from water-related diseases. To put that into perspective, that is more than six times the population of the Gold Coast.
Around two billion people still lack access to safely managed drinking water. In many communities, women and children are responsible for collecting it, spending an estimated 200 million hours every day walking long distances to gather water.
Tragically, water-related diseases remain one of the leading causes of death in children, with hundreds of thousands of young lives lost each year.

Who Are We?
We are an online retailer who sells water filters and water filter cartridges to everyday Australians. Part of every transaction goes towards providing life-changing water to people in need. In doing so, you join in our water warrior community.
How Do We Do What We Do?
We do that by providing the widest range of domestic water filters to everyday Australians. Through our global water giving program, we give 30 days access of clean water to people in need for every order placed on MyWaterFilter.com.au, whether it be a water filter, water filter cartridge or other home water solution.
Cartridges need to be replaced every year so we have created an Automatic Life Giving Cartridge Replacement program, where we automatically give water when you replace your cartridges.
