Terms & Conditions for My Water Filter's Instant Holiday Reward

The  My Water Filter Instant Holiday Reward has been created in good spirit in a fair way for everyone involved, please play fair.

1. Eligibility: The My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward is open only to those who spend $500 or more with My Water Filter in a single transaction, via our authorized sales expert or via our website mywaterfilter.com.au. The customer must be 18 years of age as of the date of purchase and must be living in Australia.

The My Water Filter Instant Holiday Reward is only open to legal residents of Australia and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of My Water Filter (the “Sponsor”) their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward. The My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to abide by these Rules, and that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of My Water Filter, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

3. ‘My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward’ Promotion Period: The promotion opens on 22 March 2022 and will run until holiday vouchers last. Any changes or updates on the promotion period will be posted on the My Water Filter website and/or its available channels. 

4. How to Enter: To enter the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward Giveaway, simply spend $500 or more in a single transaction via our authorized sales expert or via our website mywaterfilter.com.au. Everyone who meets the spending requirement will receive the holiday voucher in their email, with instructions on how to activate their voucher and book their holiday through our third-party partner RedeemVacations.com.

Customers will receive a holiday voucher when they spend at least $500 in a single purchase from My Water Filter. There is only one holiday giveaway for every transaction over $500. There are no additional holiday vouchers if a customer exceeds the $500 transaction amount. 

5. Holiday Reward: Anyone spending $500 & Over on My Water Filter sales and website channels will receive a voucher for complimentary hotel or resort accommodation packages in any of the identified destinations available in  RedeemVacations.com. Airfare and transport to and from the selected destination are not included.

Likewise, food & beverages are not included in the reward packages. As a rule, your selected hotel or resort must also be at least 100 miles or 160 kilometers away from your own home. 

When you book your holiday, all you will have to cover is the service fee ranging from AUD $29 to AUD $50 per night. This rate varies per location and covers travel agency fees, 3rd party booking engine, housekeeping/room cleaning room fee, among others. Some hotels and resorts can offer different packages so it’s best to check if your selected accommodation for occupancy rules, child-friendly policies, vacancy dates, or any additional fees.
The reward voucher is valid for 18 months upon email activation. You will have to choose your destination (ex.Sydney) upon activation, but you can decide on your chosen hotel/resort package at a later date within this period.
This incentive activation is FINAL & NON-REFUNDABLE. The end user will have 18 months to travel and can choose from available destinations to find travel dates and participating resort/hotel options.

Once accommodation dates have been confirmed, no changes of dates are allowed. Also, after the accommodation dates have been confirmed, any cancellation of one’s accommodation will result in forfeiture of the activation fees (ie: booking fees).

This incentive has no cash surrender value, void if discontinued and where prohibited by law. 

6. Reward Notification: All qualified customers will receive a notification from the Sponsor within 2 business days of a qualified purchase. This email will contain instructions on how to activate their vouchers and connect with our third-party booking partners at RedeemVacations.com.

7. Rights Granted by you: By accepting the My Water Filter Instant Holiday Reward, you understand that My Water Filter, anyone acting on behalf of My Water Filter, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.

8. Terms: My Water Filter reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward. In such a case, My Water Filter may choose to suspend or halt  the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward incentive. My Water Filter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who barters this reward or tampers with the entry process or the operation of the My Water Filter Instant Holiday Reward or violates these Terms & Conditions.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, My Water Filter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By entering the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward you agree to receive email newsletters periodically from My Water Filter. You can opt-out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

Given the nature of this reward incentive, My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward is subject to the Terms & Conditions of our third-party Holiday Booking Agency. Key terms and conditions are highlighted in the booking instructions page to be shared with qualified customers. A link to the full terms & conditions of the agency is likewise found on the same booking page. It is the qualified customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that he/she fully understands the terms shared therein.

9. Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless My Water Filter and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

10. Disputes: THIS MY WATER FILTER’S INSTANT HOLIDAY REWARD IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF AUSTRALIA AND WA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Rewards, the participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this My Water Filter’s Instant Holiday Reward shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Australia having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will a participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this My Water Filter Instant Holiday Reward), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
